Brad Demby Architect is located in Portland, Oregon. The studio focuses on contemporary residential and creative small projects at a variety of scales.

Brad has a wide range of design experience, from residential and adaptive reuse to performing arts and education buildings. His skills as an award-winning architect have been honed over 20 years, working primarily with the Portland firm Bora as a senior Project Designer and eventual Partner. Earlier in his career Brad worked at Allied Works in Portland and spent 2 years abroad working on residential projects in the city of Amsterdam. It was here that he developed a deep interest in architecture that is sensitive to site, cultural context, and the local environment.

Brad graduated with a Masters of Architecture degree from North Carolina State University with Honors in his home state. He received a fellowship to study in Germany at the Architektur Fachhochschule in Stuttgart.

He is a member of the AIA and a licensed Architect in Oregon.

In his free time, Brad enjoys traveling with his family and riding his mountain bike through Oregon’s wild places.
